Our practice is owned and operated by a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner

Jane Freitas

APRN-BC/Owner

I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of experience in the medical field. My journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rhode Island College in 1996. While working in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Rhode Island Hospital, I pursued advanced education, earning a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Rhode Island in 2001.Throughout my career, I have honed my skills in various acute care and hospital settings, including the emergency department, cardiac catheterization lab, cardiology, and inpatient physical rehabilitation. Each experience enriched my expertise and deepened my passion for patient care. In early 2020, I realized I missed the hands-on aspect of nursing that first inspired me. This led me to explore aesthetics. Unfortunately, I had to put my desire to pursue aesthetics on the back burner due to the pandemic. In 2021, I was finally able to attend a course and become certified in botulinum toxin and dermal filler applications. Driven by a commitment to excellence, I completed advanced injection training several months later. Since then, I have become a PDO Max® thread-lift provider and a SottoPelle® provider. Transitioning into aesthetics has been one of the most fulfilling decisions of my career. Helping women and men enhance their natural beauty, restore youthful vitality, and boost their confidence brings me immense joy and professional satisfaction.

Brianna Blanchette BSN, RN

I proudly graduated from the Rhode Island College School of Nursing in May 2023, earning my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. From the start, I knew nursing was my calling—a way to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others during their most vulnerable moments. My passion for aesthetics grew from the realization that I could help people in a unique way—by enhancing their confidence and sense of self through personalized treatments. I am thrilled to bring my skills and compassion into practice, working hands-on with clients to help them look and feel their absolute best. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey to renewed confidence and beauty.

Roxanne Jardin, RN

Hi, I’m Roxanne — a Registered Nurse with 18 years of experience in settings ranging from inpatient and ambulatory care to home health, primary care, hospice, and community health. My journey into aesthetics started in 2020, when I personally experienced the confidence-boosting results of Botox and dermal fillers. Seeing firsthand how these treatments could make people look and feel their best inspired me to pursue my aesthetic certification in 2022, and I’ve loved every moment since.
For me, aesthetics is about more than just enhancing appearance — it’s about bringing out the beauty you already have and helping you feel your most confident self. I’m thrilled to join Face First and collaborate with such talented professionals while bringing my own mix of clinical expertise and lighthearted personality.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me with my friends, family, or my dog… or, on special occasions, dressed as Michael Myers just to get a good laugh.

GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP For Weight Loss

Obesity is a chronic disease that can lead to high blood pressure, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, type 2 diabetes, and high cholesterol. Semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) and Tirzepatide (Zepbound, Mounjaro) belong to a class of medications know as GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide analogue). They were initially prescribed for the treatment of diabetes. In recent studies, GLP-1 medications PLUS diet and lifestyle changes have been shown to have a sustained and clinically significant relevant reduction in body weight. Our weight loss program will include a 3 month supply of compounded GLP-1/GIP medication as well as weekly follow up appointments to monitor weight loss.

Who is a candidate for GLP-1/GIP meds?

Who is NOT a candidate ?

What are the side effects of GLP-1/GIP meds?

How do I take GLP-1/GIP meds?

These medications are given as a once weekly injection under the skin. The dosing is titrated up slowly every 4 weeks.

Candidates should have a current physical done by their primary care provider within 1 year and routine labs done within 3 months. You will need to provide this information prior to starting the program.

All candidates need to be seen in the office weekly for weight check and side effect monitoring.

platelet rich plasma

What is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)?

PRP is the concentrated component from your own blood that contains nutrient rich cells and protein growth factors. Platelets are cells that are in the blood. They bind together when they recognize damaged blood vessels. Plasma is the largest component of your blood. The purpose of plasma is to transport nutrients, hormones, and proteins to the body.

What can PRP be used for?

PRP can be applied to the skin during or after micro needling procedures, Morpheus8 treatments or injected into the skin to help reduce fine lines, acne scars, dark circles under the eyes, improve skin texture. PRP can also be injected under the scalp for hair restoration.

How is PRP prepared?

A small amount of your blood is drawn and placed into a sterile tube. It is then spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the blood resulting in platelet rich plasma.

Is PRP safe?

PRP is safe because it comes from your own blood.

PRP Pricing
  • Add PRP to any Morpheus8 or Skinpen treatment $125
  • PRP Injections for fine lines, wrinkles, tear troughs $500

Frequently Asked Questions

It takes 3-7 days before you begin to see the effects of your BTA treatment and the effects will generally last between 3 to 4 months.

There are many different types of filler products available, each with its own duration of action. Temporary fillers last between 3 months and 2 years depending on the specific product. You may discuss this at the consultation so we develop a treatment plan that works for you.

BTA is very well tolerated and safe when used for non-invasive cosmetic treatments. There have been reports of problems after BTA treatment, but these have been cases where large doses of BTA were used. (The amount of BTA used for cosmetic purposes is very small). While BTA does “paralyze” the muscles in the face, the effects are temporary and do not cause permanent problems.

While injectable treatment carries some risk, most fillers are very well tolerated and safe when used for cosmetic enhancement. Most fillers carry very few risks.

Filler injections can be used to treat wrinkles all over the face. Both shallow and deep wrinkles can be treated with cosmetic filler products. Filler products are also used extensively to add volume to the face, including the cheeks and lips to give you a more youthful appearance.

When injectable products are approved to be used in the United States, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) lists specific uses for those products. Most injectable products have been “approved” to treat specific areas of the face, and list these approved treatment areas on the product label. However, the principle effects of the product may be the same if used elsewhere on the face. When a product is used on an area of the face not specifically listed on the FDA package insert label, the use of the product is considered “off-label”. For example, Botox Cosmetic® may only be FDA approved to treat the wrinkles in the glabella area (“elevens”), resulting in a elimination or softening of those wrinkle and improved facial appearance. However injection of Botox Cosmetic® around the eyes may achieve the same cosmetic effect, but has not been officially approved but the FDA for that purpose. It is acceptable for medical professionals to use the products in an off-label manner in the United States, but you need to be informed and aware that the products are being used in this way.
